Who We Are

Finance4Nurses believes every nurse can and should own their own home. We process your information according to Australian privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), to help achieve this mission.

Information We Collect

We collect only essential information including:

• Name and contact details (email, phone number)
• Employment information (to verify your nursing registration and eligibility)
• Address (if required for prize delivery or service provision)

We do not collect sensitive information unless necessary and with your explicit consent.

How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

• Process your entry in our $500 prize draw
• Verify your eligibility as a registered nurse
• Contact you about homeownership opportunities if you opt in
• Improve our services and user experience

Prize Draw Information

• Winner selected randomly from eligible nurse entries
• You will be notified via the contact details provided if you win
• Data kept for 3 months after the draw
• Non-winners' data deleted after 3 months unless you opt in to further communications

Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:

• Access and correct your personal information
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw marketing consent at any time
• Receive information about how we use your data
• Lodge a complaint if you believe your privacy has been breached

Data Sharing

We only share your information with:

• Team members helping with homeownership services (if you opt in)
• Trusted service providers helping deliver our services under strict confidentiality agreements
• Authorities when legally required

We protect your information using industry-standard encryption, up-to-date security software, regular security audits, and strict access controls. Our commitment to data security means we continuously monitor our systems and implement the latest protective measures to ensure your personal information remains safe and confidential. All staff members who handle your data are required to maintain confidentiality agreements, and access is limited to authorised personnel only.

Data Retention

• Prize draw data: 3 months
• Marketing opt-ins: 2 years
• Client records: 7 years (as required by Australian law)

After these periods, your data will be securely deleted or de-identified.

Marketing

If you opt in, a team member will contact you after the event to discuss homeownership options tailored to nurses. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us directly or using the opt-out link in any communication.

Complaints

If you have concerns about how your data is handled, please contact Tim Boyle at tim.boyle@fin4nurses.com.au. We will respond to your complaint within 30 days. If unresolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
