Okay, not really, but putting my property hat on, these are the three things that, once you understand each of these “friends” you will get to like them more.
Perhaps, it’s not love at first sight, but they will grow on you.
Today I will introduce them to you, don’t swipe left (or is it right?). Read their bios here and you get to know them over the next few weeks.
- Time
- – let’s face it, in life we prefer to see fast results. So do your patients. In property, time is more than your best friend. Give it enough and it will forgive and cover over most your property errors and flaws.
- Property location and qualities
- Location is important – this is a friend you want to check where they live – not what is close by: hint: hospitals are a good start, as are schools, public transport, quiet streets… we will cover all that.
- Debt – don’t judge a person by their name – get to know them and see their qualities.
- I know and you could rightly say as a mortgage broker, of course I like debt. Most of us are as nervous takin g it on as loved ones in the ICU visitors waiting area but seriously, debt and property go together – it’s how you use it, how you structure it, and how you should prioritise what to pay off first
